It’s no surprise that I love all things horror. So, it shouldn’t shock anyone that I love surrounding myself with spooky décor.
Like many people, for more than a year now, I’ve been working remotely. Being at home has given me plenty of time to think about how I want to spice up my office. As someone who loves supporting small businesses, I often turn to Etsy as my go-to shopping location. On Etsy, not only do I get to support small businesses, but I also find some incredible pieces I likely wouldn’t find elsewhere.
I’m still building up my horror collection. I doubt I’ll ever be fully satisfied, but I wanted to show off some of the incredible things Etsy and these small, homemade businesses have to offer!
Here’s my latest Etsy horror haul!
Tarot Card Print & Floating Frame

When most people think of occult items, tarot cards are one of the first things they think of. I had my eye on this “The Moon” tarot card print from Rightmew for a little while before I finally purchased. This print came all the way from Germany and still only took a few days to arrive. When it did, I was blown away by the high-quality print I now own.
If you’re looking for some witchy, occult-like prints, Rightmew is the place to go!
Having the print was great, but I needed some way to hang it up. That’s when I found HangerFrames. These floating picture frames are super easy to set up thanks to the magnets hidden in the wood pieces. What I love most about these frames—other than how simple they are to hang art—is that they’re super customizable.
The frames are offered in a variety of sizes and wood options. For this print, I got the 6-inch frame in Walnut.
You also get a variety of different hanging materials so you can change up your style.
Skull Planter

On top of adding horror décor to my life because of the pandemic, I’ve also started taking care of plants. Somehow, I’m now up to seven plants to care for. That’s how Harold, this cute little guy, came into my life. As soon as I saw him, I knew he needed some type of creepy planter since he looks a little bit like a brain. That’s how this 3D-printed skull planter from NearlyHome came into my life.
To ensure the planter matches your decor, it’s offered in a variety of different colors. For Harold, I got the Silk Black color with a sealed finish. There’s plenty of different colors to choose from, including pink, so you’re sure to find the planter size and color that’s right for your houseplant.
Bela Lugosi Wood Print

When you think of horror icons, Bela Lugosi is at the top of the list. Don’t believe me? I did a three-part series on vampires! For months I searched sometimes daily for the perfect item to pay homage to one of the OG horror stars. When I found this wood print from 12MontsofOctoberCo, I knew my search came to an end.
This super high-quality wood print was everything I could’ve asked for. It’s the perfect size for my small shelf. It makes you stop and look at it, but it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb thanks to the delicateness of this print.

I loved this so much I actually ordered again from 12MonthsofOctoberCo. This time, I got an Overlook Hotel sign for my bookshelf. Of course, I had to put that in front of my growing collection of Stephen King paperbacks.
Skull Candle & Ouija Board Keychain

Okay, so full disclosure: I bought these two items for a giveaway when The Seventh Day was released in October 2019, but I loved them so much I kept them!
The keychain is super impressive because of how tiny it is. Thomas, the owner of WICCSTAR, did an incredible job with burning all the letters and intricate details on this keychain.
Finally, we have the skull candle from StoryOfTheScent in the scent Love Spell. The candle smells incredible, but I haven’t wanted to burn it yet because I love how it looks!
