I love black and white photography. When I took my first photography class in high school we exclusively used black and white film photography for the first four months of school. I just think that even the most simple pictures are stunning as black and white. Like this photo, for example:
This photo is just three pieces of my black and white film that I took over a white sheet. But, with the magic of black and white, I find this absolutely stunning. I especially love taking landscapes in black and white.
As an added bonus, here’s my favorite black and white landscape picture.
This picture was taken in 2016 while on a trip to the Finger Lakes. For almost two decades my family and I would visit Seneca Lake for a week or two each summer. This photo of Hector Falls was taken after pulling over on the side of the road at the top of Seneca Lake (in Watkins Glen).
