What I’m thankful for may seem a bit cliche at first, but bear with me because I have my reasoning. Something that I’m thankful for is my creative vision.
Like many people, I’ve had my fair share of struggles and difficulties in life. While each hardship I faced was different, the one thing that remained constant was using art, music, and writing as a form of therapy. For years now I’ve used these creative outlets as a way to normalize my otherwise hectic life. And, since I was using writing and photography so much growing up, it just sorta stuck with me as a teenager and now young adult, hence me being an author and wanna-be photographer.
I’m thankful for my creative vision because it now allows me to view life in a new way. I’m able to look at life with a different angle, quite literally as I tend to take photographs at different angles and heights.
Mostly I’m thankful for my creative vision because if I didn’t have these creative outlets as a support system during the most difficult times in my life, I’m not sure who, where, or what I’d be right now.
